Payment Plans

There are times when your chosen treatment or emergency dental procedure might cost more than you have, or you simply want to spread the cost out over time.

Alderley Dental is pleased to offer our patients two interest-free payment plan options through our dental financing partners, Denticare and MacCredit.

About These Dental Payment Plans

DentiCare offers dental payment plans for a range of treatments, allowing you to spread the cost of your dental treatment:

Dental payment plans through Denticare finance are one of the Brisbane dental financing options with Alderley Dental.

  • DentalDeposit is 20% of treatment cost
  • $39.00 admin fee one off
  • Varying repayment period options from 3 – 24 months
  • Interest-free
  • Direct debit repayments
  • Borrow up to $9,000.

MacCredit also offers dentist payment plans to our patients for a variety of dental treatments including more extensive dental work:

  • Dental loans up to $50,000
  • A range of repayment periods up to 84 months
  • Interest-free

How do the dental payment plans work?

If you are considering using our dentist with payment plans from Denticare or MacCredit then we can walk you through the options, what suits your situation the best and the application process.

Child Dental Benefits Schedule

Alderley Dental now bulk bills eligible patients under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (also known as CDBS).

The Australian Government’s Department of Human Services launched this dental benefits scheme in January 2014 in conjunction with Medicare.

Medicare is no longer providing Medicare Teen Dental Vouchers; however, this new scheme does cover eligible children between the ages 2-17 to have access to basic dental treatments.

These services include:

  • 6-month active maintenance appointments ('check up and cleans')
  • X-rays (if required)
  • Fillings
  • Extractions
  • Fissure sealing
  • Root canal treatment

CDBS does not include major dental treatment such as orthodontics or crowns. This benefit allows for up to $1000 per child over a two-year calendar period.

Booking your bulk-billed appointment

If you have any enquiries about Alderley Dental's bulk billing, want to check your child’s eligibility or would like to make an appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact us on (07) 3856 2144. If you wish your child to be bulk-billed under the CDBS, then please inform us at the time of making the booking.

Health Fund Preferred Providers

Information about health funds & dental health insurance

If you are a member of any of the major health funds then we can process your claim quickly and easily at your appointment by swiping your membership card on our HICAPs machine. This will deduct your benefit from your health fund from your account leaving only the gap payment remaining.

If you have any questions about the services you are entitled to and your benefits coverage we recommend you obtain a quote for your treatment and then contact your health fund to enquire what costs are covered by them.

Normally each treatment has a code, which is included on our quotes which are common throughout the private health funds so this is a relatively easy process.

  • BUPA preferred dentists
  • BUPA private health insurance
  • Medibank Private (also known as Medibank Member’s Choice providers)

What does this mean?

Health fund members for HCF, BUPA and Medibank enjoy 100% coverage* from their health funds on selected preventive dental health services.

*These are limited by the number of times per year, types of treatments and your level of cover so if you are planning on claiming, it is important to discuss this with us when you book.

Call us on (07) 3856 2144 and we can take you through the common questions we receive about health funds and the costs that are covered.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
