Alderley Dental strongly supports the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), which provides eligible children with access to free basic dental care.
Under the CDBS, eligible children aged 0–17 years may receive up to $1,052 over two calendar years for dental services.
o be eligible, your child must:
- Eligible for Medicare
- Aged 0-17 years old
- Receiving an eligible payment from Centrelink at least once a year, or have a parent receiving an eligible payment
The CDBS covers services such as:
- Routine dental check-ups
- Professional Dental cleans
- X-rays
- Fillings
- Fissure seals
- Extractions
- Root canal treatment
At our practice, eligible CDBS services are bulk-billed directly to Medicare, allowing families to access dental care with no upfront cost (up to the benefit limit).
